Each morning wake up, look out over the beach and see what amazing sunrise is on the horizon. This is Gisborne - the first place in the world to see the sun? Be sure to pack your camera! Come and stay in a unique log lodge set on 24 acres overlooking 5.6kms of beautiful unspoiled beach with a unique combination of clean walking sand, safe swimming, beautiful surf and rocky diving areas.
A self-contained unit for individuals or couples wanting their own space, is available.
This is the place to wake up to the sound of the surf, laze and gaze or embark on one of the many activities available directly from the Lodge.
Activities close to the Lodge include, golf, walks to suit all abilities, from leisurely beach walks where you will see the white breasted shag and dotterell colonies, to day walks to Cook's Cove (Captain Cook's first landing place in NZ) and Tolaga Bay Wharf (longest man made wharf in NZ).
This is a unique quiet location with an amazing outlook, outdoor entertaining area and modern facilities, providing memories you will treasure forever

Summary: Thank you so much for having us at this amazing lodge. Everything within the property was absolutely perfect. Everything was well thought through from entertaining families across all ages pool table, table tennis, books, board games and the breath taking views. Well equipted facilities from bbq, pizza oven, chrome casting in projector room with detailed instructions made movie nights super special. The lodge was so clean and well kept, there was plenty of space for everyone. Massive thank you again to the property hosts Brent and Jaye absolutely lovely so warm and welcoming even allowing the little ones to visit and cuddle your puppies they were all over the moon. The special touches you set up the christmas deco, the lights and xmas party laser lights was a massive win for the family the little ones had their own dance party almost every night. Highly recommend to others if you are planning on a large family get away this is the place to be get in early to book we were lucky enough to confirm booking as early as Feb. Thank you again Brent and Jaye for the outstanding communications and for making our stay so enjoyable the family will always remember. - Jo and Jay

Summary: The view you get throughout the day, and the stars at night, is just magnificent. The house is equipped with every You need to have a blast with friends/family, outdoors is well maintained which is great to lay down, play some games or even getting married just like we did. We truly enjoyed our wedding and rest of the weekend at Tidal Waters, we want to thank Jaye and Brent’s support during our stay, it definitely exceeded our expectations.
